Daily Dropkick #2 - Hear Ye, Hear Ye... PLEASE!

Welcome to Daily Dropkick. Daily Dropkick is a daily article that focuses on all the biggest wrestling news of the day. Want to know the breaking news of today? Click 'read more' below!

Ladies and Gentlemen, readers of all ages, I welcome you to the second article in the series I have called Daily Dropkick and today we have a blinder. A very big article so please, sit back and enjoy!

When will Sting return?
Let's start how we will most articles - the name. Every article has a unique name and today's is hear ye, hear ye... PLEASE! Now, as you may know "hear ye, hear ye" is a common royal saying and who do we know in the WWE thats royal? King Barrett of course! WWE toured Singapore recently and its Singapore global newspaper "The Straits Times" released their interviews with three superstars - Wade Barrett, Neville and Divas Champion Nikki Bella. Barrett revealed that he's struggling to adapt under the King gimmick because of the writing team haven't focused on them. To be honest, not only does this explain the awful feud with King Whats Up, but we also know this is true because all five weeks leading up to Battleground have been focused on Cena vs. Owens 3 and Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins.

We all believed that Sting would return last Monday on RAW. This wasn't the case. However, according to Dave Meltzer, Sting will return to RAW close to SummerSlam and will be involved in the Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt feud. Where will WWE go with it because at the moment there's two options. Firstly, it looks like Dean Ambrose will be involved in that feud. So how will Sting fit in? They either take Ambrose out and replace him with Sting or make it a 6-man tag team match but have to create a new member of the Wyatt family. This raises another question - Who joins the Wyatt family? Someone from NXT? Baron Corbin? Or repackage Bo Dallas?

Let's just quickly talk about RAW. A successful RAW as the viewership increased by 7.7%, hitting 3.8 million viewers. On a side note, we have an injury update from the Miz. He's not seriously injured and will be fine. Looks like he'll still be in the Intercontinental Title picture. Shame.

Moving on to NXT and tonight we see NXT Champion Finn Balor for the first time so I'm super excited for that! He'll participate in a contract signing with ex-champion Kevin Owens for the rematch at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn. What we learned today as well is that Hideo Itami may return at the event in Brooklyn. Meh. Not really a massive Itami fan, I suppose him vs. Balor would be a good match though.
The outspoken Sunny

It's been rumored for a long time and it see's it might finally happen. Triple H is turning face. His wife, Stephanie McMahon turned face when she created the Divas Revolution and the writing team believe the power couple can't be made up of a heel and a face. The only way Triple H can do this is by turning on Seth Rollins. We know that Kane and J&J Security will turn face with them, like they did last time....

Sticking with the Divas Revolution, and former WWE Women's competitor Sunny, the woman who changed women in wrestling, said women shoudn't compete in wrestling and leave it to the men. WHAT? Women in WWE have been pretty bad but the revolution looks to change that. Oh, and she hates Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks....

One for all the NJPW fans out their - the date for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title match has been set. Defending champion Kushida will face Ricochet (Prince Puma in Lucha Underground) at the G1 Climax Final. The final day is looking better and better!

Future GFW Champion?
Lastly we know what titles will be used in Global Force Wrestling. GFW will use a World Title, Nex-Gen title, Tag Team Titles and a Women's title via four tournaments. Let's make some predictions!

GFW World Championship - Nick Aldis (Formerly known as Magnus)
GFW Tag Team Titles - The Young Bucks
GFW Nex-Gen Title - PJ Black
GFW Women's Title - Mickie James

Thank you for reading this article. The first article went down really well and I hope people keep reading this series.
